Welcome to my digital space! My name is Emanuele Balsamo, and I am a passionate cybersecurity professional, software developer, and project manager with a rich background in both leadership and technical expertise. Throughout my career, I've honed my skills across various domains, from full-stack development to advanced cybersecurity tactics, including penetration testing and vulnerability management.

At Deloitte Risk Advisory, where I currently serve as a Senior Specialist, I lead small, dynamic teams to tackle complex security challenges for international financial institutions. I pride myself on my ability to balance both offensive and defensive approaches to cybersecurity while driving projects forward with Agile methodologies. Whether it's managing vulnerabilities at a leading bank or conducting real-world attack simulations, I strive to create resilient security solutions that keep businesses safe in an ever-evolving threat landscape.

In addition to cybersecurity, I’m also deeply involved in software development, having acted as CTO for multiple startups where I managed everything from software lifecycle management to release management. My technical toolkit includes JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and more. Secure coding and infrastructure management are key pillars of my work, ensuring that every project I touch is robust from the ground up.

When I'm not immersed in security or code, I enjoy exploring the outdoors through hiking and water sports.
